The “blue smoke” images on this blog come from the photographer Mark Kitaoka. Mr. Kitaoka maintains all rights to these photos.
The morning after I created my blog, I goggled for “blue smoke” images, and I was struck by the movement of his blue smoke. Fluid, rhythmic, active. I loved it.
I immediately contacted Mr. Kitaoka, and he very graciously gave me permission to use his work here.
I hope you will visit his site. He is an extraordinary photographer of depth and great range.

Many thanks to Mr. Kitaoka for his generosity.
